Bettie Sue Terry Willis
A native of Vivian, Louisiana, Bettie passed away May 23, 2006 at the
age of 79, at Clear Lake. She was a long time resident of League City,
Texas and was previously co-owner of Willis Business Service. She was
the daughter of J. R. and Opal Terry.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Ray and Gwen Willis,
Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a daughter, Glenda Willis, League City,
Texas; three grandchildren, Ricky and Wendy Willis, Baton Rouge and
James Christopher Willis, League City; one sister and brother-in-law,
Peggy and Joe McWilliams, Lufkin, Texas, one brother, Donald Terry,
numerous nieces and nephews and two great grandchildren, Kyle and Hope
McKee.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 31, at 1 p.m. located at
St. Thomas The Apostle Episcopal Church, 18300 Upper Bay Road, Nassau
Bay.
Bettie was a beautiful, and very generous, person and was also gifted
with a beautiful voice. She sang in her church and was often asked to
sing for special occasions.
She was a special Mother, Grandmother, daughter and sister to her
siblings and will be missed by her family.
