Hello,

I am researching the Alexander, Holmes, and Calahan families of Lincoln
Parish.

Mattie Holmes, b 1899, d. 1996, married Byron Calahan. I have not yet been
able to find any further information on Mattie.

Byron's parents were William C. Calahan and Emma Alexander. William was b.
in 1870 in Georgia, son of John and Mary Calahan. He died in 1941. I have
not been able to determine if William's parents migrated from Georgia to
Lincoln Parish.

Emma was born in 1875 in Louisiana and died in 1943. Her parents were
Sample M. Alexander (b. 1844) and possibly Margaritte Gribble.

I am also looking for information on Frances John Jendrey, b. 1919 and died
in Dec. 1982 in Ruston.
