Hi All,
Would anyone here on the list know where I could get any info on Lambs Creek, Tioga County, PA. I have sent for and received some from the Tioga County Historical Society. I would like to find pictures of this village (founded by my great, great, great, great grandfather Gad Lamb in 1797), as this village has been destroyed by the Army Corps of Engineers in the 1970's when they constructed the Tioga-Hammond Lakes. My family history is as follows:
1..Thomas Lambe b.about 1600 in England came to Roxbury, Mass. in 1630
2..John Lambe b. 1628 or 29 in England d.9/28/1690 in Springfield, Mass
3..Daniel Lamb b. 11/24/1666 in Springfield, Mass d. 3/8/1692
4..John Lamb b.3/28/1691 probably in Springfield, Mass d.7/1/1749
5..Daniel Lamb b. 4/6/1716 in Springfield, Mass d. April or May?? 18,1786 in Wilbraham, Mass
6..Gad Lamb b. 11/9/1744 in Wilbraham, Mass d. 5/29/1838
Another source says b. 4/3/1739 d. 4/5/1824 in Lambs Creek, PA
Gad founded Lambs Creek in 1797

over in the 'Mayflower'
7..Daniel Lamb b. 1/15/1780 d. 12/18/1866 in Lambs Creek,PA
8..Gad A Lamb b.?? d. 2/1/1889 in Lambs Creek
9.. Arthur Lamb buried in Bath, NY
10..Leonard Lamb buried in Portland, OR married Serena Cooper
11..Shirley Lamb b. 7/25/1924 in Corning, NY d. 1/1/1976 in Shenandoah, PA
Shirley, my mother, married Walter Sadusky of Shenandoah, PA
