Age 76, died Tuesday, February 10, 2004, at Colony Oaks Care Center. He was
born in Kingsford, Michigan on April 1, 1927; the son of Clarence M. and
Addie (Hunt) Lambie, Sr. On August 14, 1948 he married Ethel ?Toni? Toonen.
They were able to celebrate 55 wonderful years together.



He was a proud World War II veteran and served with the Navy. While in
service for two years, he spent the majority of his time aboard the USS
Rawlins. He was also a member of the VFW of Appleton. Clarence was an
electrician with IBEW, Local #577. He was presented with a plaque and pin
commemorating 50 years of service. Clarence was a charter member of St. Pius
X Catholic Church and a part of the Men?s Society.



Clarence was a loving husband and wonderful father and will be sadly missed
by all. His survivors include his wife, Ethel ?Toni?; four children:
Christine (Richard) Bradley, Appleton; Michael (Diane) Lambie, Gilbert,
Arizona; Patrick Lambie, Appleton; Lisa (James) Bartlein, Hudson, WI; six
grandchildren: Stacie (James) Bradley-Rice, Scott Bradley, Kate Bartlein,
Michael Bartlein, Alysia Fabricius, Taylor Lambie; two sisters-in-law: Rita
Chapelle and Viola Toonen, Appleton. He is further survived by many nieces,
nephews and wonderful neighbors and friends. He was preceded in death by his
parents, and two brothers: Orville and Norman.



The Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2004, at St. Pius
X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette St., with Father Don Zuleger
officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial
fund is being established.

La Rue, Blanche nee: Lambie



Blanche La Rue, Larsen, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2004
at the Weyauwega Health Care Center with her son Tom at her side. Blanche
was born on January 6, 1916 in the Town of Kaukauna, daughter of the late
George and Carrie (Simpson) Lambie. She married George La Rue on June 12,
1934. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1989. The couple owned and
operated Georges Barber Shop in the Town of Larsen until his death. They
enjoyed spending weekends at their northern Wisconsin cottage and were a
devoted couple for over 50 years.



Blanche is survived by her five sons: Kenneth (Judy), Weyauwega; Duane
(Shirley), Oshkosh; Thomas (Barbara), Waupaca; Denis (Shirley), Wausaukee;
Lawrence La Rue of Menasha; two sisters: Betty Bastian and Georgia Arndt; 12
grandchildren: Mike, Chris, Amy, Steve, Doug, Jeff, Jason, Heather, Clint,
Melissa, Tracie and Tammie; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great
grandsons.



Blanche was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her beloved
granddaughter, Jessica Mayefski; two sisters: Esther Nelson and Edna Tank;
and her only brother, Stanley Lambie.



The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 10,
2004, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Allen officiating.
Interment will be in St. Margarets Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call
at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.



The family would like to thank the wonderful people at the Center and Dr.
Roy Buchholz for their kindness while Blanche lived in their care.
