Hi Listers:

My ancestor was also an ANGUS LAMONT 1731-1797 from Islay. His grandson
COLL LAMOND c1786-1861 was a dancing master who emigrated to Ontario in
1851. They lived briefly in Chinguacousy township, Peel County and then
moved to Saugeen township, Bruce County in 1854. His children were MARY,
GILBERT, DONALD, JANET and FLORA.

If anyone else has Lamont ancestors from Islay, I would be interested to hear
from you!
