Diane,
Do you know where you can get a copy of this book? I am not hunting for the
Lamont name but the Maclammie's which were a part of the Lamont clan. Has
anyone out there hear of them? My line came to America in the early 1600
maybe because of all of the killings occurring during that time or maybe they
just were looking for new opportunities. Since, the name was spelled several
different ways I am having trouble finding them. The have the last name
listed as Maclammie, Macklammie, and McClammy to mention just a few. They
have also listed his first name as Woney, Wonney, Onea, and Owen. If anyone
out there has come across the name while they were hunting for the Lamonts I
would be most happy to hear from you.
