I am looking for the ancestors of my gggrandfather Lewis LaMont aka E.B. b. about 1841 somewhere in New York. He was in Lenawee, Michigan by 1860 according to the census information.
I do not know his father's name or where they originated in New York if in fact that was where he was born.
The names of his children were Ebenezer (aka Ebb), Frank, Ervin, Elizabeth Mae, Mary and Edward. Any help would be appreciated.
