I agree with Alan. If it had not been fror Scottish BDM certificates
ssupplied either by Origins or by writing directto t he staff at GRO (who I
have always found to be extremely helpful) I would never have discoverd so
much about my Irish ancestors, who emigrated to Glasgow in 1847.If they'd
stayed in Ireland I would know virtually nothing about them!
