My Grandparents came to USA from Scotland. My Mother always referred to her parents as Mother and Father. I always thought this was because of the Scotland heritage. Am I wrong? We always said Mama and Daddy when we were young. As we grew older, this became Mom and Dad.
How are parents addressed in Scotland today? I find this interesting. Just curious.
