My ggggf, Jesse Meredith married a Nancy Lancaster in Smith Co., TN in October 1820 and migrated to Wilcox Co., AL shortly thereafter. Their land was in the same township and range as Richard Lancasters and his son Samuel. My Jesse and Nancy named their first son Richard L. and another son Rial A (the name of another of Richard Lancaster's sons). I do not know who Nancy's parents are. But because Nancy and Jesse migrated from Smith Co., TN to Wilcox Co., AL about the same time that Richard Lancaster did, lived near him and possibly named children for Richard Lancaster and one of his sons, there appears to be some relationship between my Nancy and Richard Lancaster. However, I have not been able to determine if Richard Lancaster had a daughter Nancy. Would you happen to know? Would greatly appreciate your sharing. Thanks! Richard
