Researching Evan JONES confirmed to have lived in Liverpool as early as
1881,wife Mary JONES, childred Henry Ralph JONES,Joseph JONES,Jane
JONES,
Annie JONES,George B JONES, and Mary JONES. On the 1891 census a Joseph
CHALMERS,nephew 15 is listed as living with them.I have a photograh of
Joseph CHALMERS in a uniform.There appears to be some kind of sheild in
the front of the hat.Any ideas as to what unifrom this might have been?
He was in Her Majesty's Service but in what branch or war I havent a
clue.He appears to be in his early twenties in the photo which would
make it about 1900-. What conflict would this have been? All informatin
welcome.
