The registers of Manchester cathedral are available from your LDS. 1841
Baptisms are on film # 0438175. It was then the Collegiate Church not the
cathedral, strictly speaking. But the LDS use the term Cathedral - to
simplify things I suppose.

Nothing, Manchester cathedral was simply the parish church. Any body in the
entire Manchester area (and even some of the outlying areas) could hatch,
match or dispatch there. Working-class through aristocracy.
