Looking for Sophia Smith Green who married Thomas Rayner Graves in 1861
in Bristol and then moved to the Walton on the Hill area and Stretford
areas. She had two sons by Graves - John Gilton Graves b 1863 in
Manchester,and Arthur R. born c 1866 in Leeds?. In 1874 she had a
daughter born in Manchester, Annie G. Green and a son born in Manchester
in c 1879 named Ernest Green. Mr Graves had evidently died and she had
remarried a gentleman with the same surname as her maiden name.

I am trying desperately to find out the death of Thomas Rayner Graves
and also the marriage to Mr. ? Green of Sophia .

I am also trying to find the death of Sophia Smith Green or Sophia
Graves or whatever she was calling herself. In the 1881 census she was
living in Walton on the Hill and she was listed as Sophia S. Green, Head
of Household, with her various children. When my grandfather, John
Gilton Graves married in 1891 she was dead and Ernest was living with
John and his new wife. (according to 1891 census).

Any help at all on any of these people would be much appreciated.
