Thankyou everyone who replied to my request for information on the
MANIFOLDS and also Tom for the most interesting information on St Nicholas
and St Peters which was backed up by "Hat" saying that the people killed
when the spire fell, were 20 young school girls. How sad.

To Jan, I have a copy of a copy of the will of EDWARD E.MANIFOLD (1821)
taken from Will Book ), p 394. York County Pa. records. If you have not got
it let me know. I will be away from my computer for a week. Yours is a
most interesting pioneer family from whom most American Manifolds are
descended.

Question. Does anyone know where the township of DUNOON is in Lancashire?
An 1850's address for JOHN MANIFOLD gave "BUTHKOLLIDAR," Dunoon.

Julie, I will watch out for the children of HUGH Manifold. Staffordshire
seems to be the "Home territory"! with the Manifold River nearby. What do
you think?

Regards,
Elizabeth M.Landy
