Debbie,
My first Genealogy programme was FTM and I didn't like it. You could
not include baptisms and the Trees were not editable. I know later
'models' corrected the Tree fault, but I still didn't like it.
I bought REUNION 4.07 (now owned by Sierra - update imminent) and
absolutely love using it. It is extremely simple to use; will allow
multiple marriages; is totally clickable (if you know what I mean); you
see three generations on one screen and can bring each child or parent
up to the middle position, purely by clicking on their name. You can
write copious notes and can add photos to the fully editable Chart
programme that comes with it. I can fully recommend this programme.
PS - I am not financially associated with either Reunion or Sierra.
Sue
