Hello everyone,
I wonder if anyone who has access to the Prestwich Marriage Register for the
months of April, May and June of 1852 would be kind enough to do a look-up
for me. I have checked the Oldham Registers already.
I know that Theophilus JACKSON (born Oldham c1830) married Martha ROBINSON
(born Oldham c1830) in the June quarter of 1852 in the Registration District
of Manchester. Other marriages in the JACKSON family suggest that the event
would have taken place at Prestwich but I do have to say that I can not be
absolutely certain that it was at Prestwich.
I know that Theophilus's father was named Thomas and I need to know the name
of Martha's father.

I have found an 1851 census entry for a Martha ROBINSON of the correct age.
She was living with her parents and her sisters at Copsterhill at that time
but it is possible that there was more than one Martha ROBINSON and I need
to verify that the one that is mentioned in the census entry is the correct
one.

I would be grateful if any one is able to help.
