The JACKSON that we are related to is Alice JACKSON(Maiden name) She was
born the year of 1858. She married(William Turner) & had a son that was
born April 9,1890 Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire UK. I know and have a
picture of her in front of her husbands Iron & Tin Plate shop which was
established in the year 1854. They had their sons picture taken at a photo
studio called J.F. Beaumont Coldham & Ashton u Lyne . Alice
Jackson(Turner) came to the United States with her son & daughters on the
Steamer Saxonia September 27,1904 from Liverpool. The family has always
been told that she made two trips from England before they stayed. The
other trip was in the year 1910 and yes there was talk in the family that
she was related to Andrew Jackson(who we must remember was born in the
United States). That's the part we want to know who her parents were in
England, United Kingdom. If you feel you want to know more about this
Jackson after she came to the United States we can help out there. This is
for the people who are researching the surname JACKSON in their family.
