Hi Margaret,
Although Owens is probably quite profuse in Wales, I have only come across
one in my life. Robert Owens, a skinny, red-haired, freckled bloke who was,
and probably still is, a photographer, in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He
was quite wild in his youth, for what it is worth, and would be 58 years old
now. Don't know if this is useful to you, in case you find there is a South
African connection.
