For those with the time and inclination, the National Archives holds
microfilm copies of passenger lists. It helps to know the date, but
reading through the whole month is not impossible.
I don't know if these are available through the LDS.
I would also like to know if certain ships from Liverpool went to Canada
in some way with passengers who ended up in the Mid-Western United
States. My grandmother ended up in Nebraska after coming over in 1903,
but I can't figure out if she came through Canada first, or where a ship
from Liverpool would have delivered immigrants for Wisconsin, Minnesota,
