Don't know whether it was a fluke or not but - went to the family search
site - filled in a user name and password and pressed return to ok it - the
box kept popping back up. Then I again put in my username and password -
ticked the save the password box and actually pressed the enter button with
the cursor - something I have always been lazy about maybe others are the
same, but I have had no trouble with it since
