Hello,

Here are my POLLITTS...

Two brothers, the children of William POLLITT and Jane Burton POLLITT of
Ashton-under-Lyne:

Sir William POLLITT, b. 1842 at Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire, Eng.,
d.1908 at Southport, Lancashire. He was the General Manager of the
Great Central Railway and made his home at Bowdon in Cheshire;

James POLLITT, b. 1844 at Ashton-under-Lyne, d. 1887 at
Ashton-under-Lyne. He was a member of the town council of
Ashton-under-Lyne, and was carting agent for the Manchester, Sheffield &
Lincolnshire Railway in Ashton and environs.

The children of James POLLITT....

Mayor John William POLLITT, b. 13 June 1867 at Ashton-under-Lyne, d. 19
July 1930 at Ashton-under-Lyne, married to Lily Fletcher;
William POLLITT, b. Ashton-under-Lyne, d. 1897;
Arthur POLLITT, b. Ashton-under-Lyne, d. 1898.
