We often get tarred with the 'expert' brush when we pass on the bits and
pieces we learn as we pass along. If anyone, local or otherwise, wants to
find out more about cotton and calico, I definitely suggest a trip to Quarry
Bank Mill, near Manchester Airport. A very good day out.
