Apologies, dear Lancsgen Listers,
The title of my earlier message should hve been YATES in Manchester 1958 not
Can anyone help me please?
I am desperately seeking the whereabouts or details of, the person who was
the Informant on my uncle's death certificate - he died 12 Dec 1958.
The entry for "Signature, description and residence of informant" says
Causing the body to be buried.
43 Parkleigh Drive, Manchester 10"
I have written to the current occupants of No 43, but in the meantime wonder
is there anyone out there who might know anything about C Yates? Anyone with
an interest in the YATEs or know about Parkleigh Drive, perhaps?
All advice and information will be gratefully received.
Good luck in your quests, too!
Best wishes to you and yours,
Nigel - in Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire
(or Huntingdonshire to all thinking persons esp. genealogists)
