Hi All,

I have always thought that only a twin would have the time of birth on the
birth certificate.

On receiving my great grandmothers certificate it had the time of birth
( I know she was a twin ), but when I 'phoned Southport to order a copy
of the certificate ( 1874) for person I believe to be her twin sister the
man who
took the order said that there was a period when times were put on all birth
certificates.

This is news to me, (and I have a wide timescale of certificates all
without times) does anyone know if this is true or is he ' having me on ' ?
