Derek - do you know if the history goes back far? I have a Margaret
Charnock who married George Greenwood (in Liverpool) in 1845. Her
father was Roger Charnock, I believe either an attorney or possibly a
law clerk. George was born in the Le Fylde area and others before him
were married in Preston St John so there may be a connection. I tend to
grab at all straws and sort them out at my leisure.
