Hi,

We did that in the 1960's. I lived in 3 different houses in the same block
growing up. When I grew up and became a teacher, then a parent of children
with Attention Deficit Disorder, I realized my mother is also Attention
Deficit - can't stay settled in one place very long. So there is one
explanation.

Subject:[LAN] Moving on the same street Lower Darwen

I wonder if anyone could explain to me why my ancestors moved several times
to residences on the same street.

Here is my BENJAMIN POMFRET family in Lower Darwen :

1851 27 Paradise St. Lower Darwen
1861 7 Paradise St. Lower Darwen
1871 11 Paradise St. Lower Darwen
1881 12 Paradise St. Lower Darwen

Was it a common practice for people to move to a different house on the
same street? What was the reason for the move?

Thanks,
Nancy Delaney
