I have just found a copy from Past Forward of an article about "A Family
Funeral" by Alfred H Lamb of Bellingham Lodge August 1888 about the death of
Charlotte (Polly) Watson. In the story it names Thomas Milligan of 11 Upper
Dicconson St Wigan, William Halliwell landlord of the Ship Hotel, The Lamb
family and Christopher Ruddick(this is my interest he is my 2nd Grand Uncle)
is anyone related to these people? Was this the only thing transcribed from
the old notebook? Does anyone know David Lamb of Windermere who contributed
this?
