Hello List,
I have come across a relative who everyone called Polly. No one living can remember her
ever having another name. However, in the 1871 census she shows up as Mary, and her
marriage records online show Mary. No middle name. Is it possible that Polly was a nickname
for Mary? Any Suggestions??
