Hi listers all,

About these different versions of the viewers

Version 2 is sold with the 1881 census and can only make limited searches
(Surname forename date of birth and where born or residing)

Version 3 is sold with the Mormon Immigration Index and I believe as a
stand-alone

version 4 is sold with the 1880 US census and is NOT suitable for using with
the 1881 census.

Version 3 is the one that people should try to obtain as it can be used with
the 1881 census to make some very elaborate searches. I have recently used
version 3 to extract all the pubs, inns, hotels and beerhouses in Runcorn,
using just the piece number and an occupation such as publican, innkeeper or
beer.
