Only a few months ago the world, through various Lists, expressed their shock and outrage at the senseless slaughter in USA. Surely, particularly at this time of year we can express our sorrow at the death of this truly great lady who has been an inspiration to many people throughout the world and was and is a deeply loved and admired Lady.

I apologise if this is off topic, but sometimes one has to stand up and be counted and I'm proud to have been born British and am deeply sad today to say farewell to a lady who has always been a part of my life.

May God bless Her Gracious Majesty and give comfort the her daughter and family.
