Hello, listers,

in googling for information on textile mills in Philadelphia PA, I found
"Sevill Schofield and the Philadelphia Textile Manudacture"
.........Philip Scranton, 1982. This may be of interest to anyone
researching the Oldham SCHOFIELD family. At least one member of this
Lancashire family emigrated to establish a textile mill in Manayunk, now
a part of Philadelphia.
