Hi Sharon,
From an old friend of your mum and Dad Audrey and Ken, unless I am mistaken,
it was so good to see your name on the List :-))
Although we have no family connection, unless I am mistaken, but Hazel and I
knew your mum and Dad very well and were Courting at the same time.Your
mum's Dad George BUCKLEY although not related to my Cheshire family was
known to me as a Knotter Machine Operator at James Kenyon, Roach Bank Mills
:-0
Our best wishes to you and your family.
We still exchange Christmas Greetings with your mum (completely lost contact
with Dad) although we haven't seen her since you were only VERY young <G>
Do write back and have a look on my Website which amongst other things has
an old photograph of Rochdale Road Park alongside Pimhole Road.(Where Roach
Bank Mills were situated.)
Best Wishes
Norman (Buckley) Bury,Lancashire,UK
