Subject: [LAN] MURPHY : Architect training in 1881?
Date: Tue, 08 Oct 2002 21:16:48 -0700
Does anyone happen to know where/how someone trained as an Architect in the
1880s? My great-great uncle was John "Jack" MURPHY. He worked as an
architect in New York but we suspect he received his training in England.
In 1881, I can find his mother and siblings living in Everton and suspect he
was off learning his profession. Any suggestions on where to look for him?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Monica
