These registers, from around Clitheroe are not online. but some are
available in transcripts from Craig Thornber at nominal prices. Craig is a
member of the Yorkshire Parish Register Society and some of the items
mentioned (with links) on his website are available from them.

"FAMILY HISTORY AND LOCAL HISTORY IN EAST LANCASHIRE
& WEST YORKSHIRE" where you will find details of "Parish register
transcriptions. Areas of interest: Gisburn, Slaidburn, Waddington, Mitton,
Clitheroe, Colne and Burnley" and links to other resources for that area.

Please can anyone tell me if there are any church records available to
search on-line for the above areas?
(I have tried the Lancs On-line Parish Clerk site.)

Also, is Walton the same place as Walton-Le-Dale? and is Sawley nr.
Clitheroe??
