Hello,

Could someone help with with these two churches in Wigan.

I have found a possible marriage for Thomas FAIRCLOUGH. There is a marriage
of a Thomas FAIRCLOUGH to Mary PRESCOT at All Saints, Wigan in 1848. This
is about the right time for a marriage for my Thomas FAIRCLOUGH who married
a lady called Mary.

Their children, however, according to the IGI were baptised at St George's
Church, Wigan. Is it likely that the couple would marry in one church and
baptise their children in another?
