Hi Pat

Thanks for the image. As I have mentioned on the list, obviously a
major transcription error on the part of Ancestry. Thanks for helping
to clear it up.

I know what you mean about your sub about to expire any time now - mine
ran out last Sunday. Unfortunately, I discovered a branch of the family
had emigrated to Rhode Island, USA on Friday evening but was then hit by
6 power cuts in 24 hours (only during the day and one lasting 3 hours)
so wasn't able to follow up as many leads as I would have liked :-(

However, I have now discovered that I can access Ancestry *worldwide*
from any of our local libraries so, will start making notes and
preparing for a morning in Chelmsford. Apparently, I should only be
able to book it for an hour but, if it is for family research, they will
book a pc upstairs and I can have it for longer! I don't know whether
people have complained in the past or whether they are just aware of how
time intensive family research can be and are trying to be
accomodating. Either way, I'm not complaining :-)

Thanks again and I'll look out for any of your pleas in the future and
try to help where I can
Regards
Heather
