Hello The List, I have a huge brick wall, Joseph Henry was born
in Prestwich in 1888, I have him in the 1901 Census in Salford
aged 11with the rest of his family.
in the 1911 census The family are living in Clayton minus Joseph Henry,
after further searches I found A Joseph Rutter Living in the same road as
the family as a lodger at which time he was shown as a Coal miner.
but then he seems to have vanished off the face of the earth, no
marriage or death certificates to be found.
one of the snags is that on the 1911 census, his Dad has changed his
own name from JOHN WOOD RUTTER to JOHN JAMES RUTTER he
actually signed the Census as this.
I know that sometime ago there was a lady enquiring about a Joseph Henry
Rutter but that was before I knew he was related to me, My Father had a
Brother and Sister that I had no Idea about until I started my Family
History
in fact I have found 7 close relatives I knew nothing about, and I always
thought we were a close Family, any thoughts on Joseph Henry would
be appreciated.
Regards John T Rutter in Eccles Gtr Manchester
