Hi Donna,

The official records started after 1837, so its highly unlikely you will get a death certificate. In addition the parish records are not available in this time period. Those kind people who make the records available to us have not worked on this time period. I do see other Collinge people later in the 1800's from this church records.

Kind regards.

>Why is it so hard to get a death certificate of John Collings who died and was buried Dec.27, 1835 at the age of 35  at St. Thomas Church, Radcliffe, Lancashire?.  I have written where people on the list have told me to write and never heard anything.  Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong and point me somewhere where I might find that certificate  I do know settlement papers were send to Cheatham, but the family never went.  Besides He and Anne Hampson of Radcliffe were married at Manchester Cathedral so the address of Cheatham might be to establish residence for the marriage banns .  Thank You  Donna Collinge Martens, Muskegon, Michigan
