Dear Mike,

Here's my transcription of two entries from the
parish register of Gaspé Anglican Church - I
think the Anglican church was known as the Church
of England in Canada at that time.

I don't know how these would have appeared in the
standard pre-printed baptismal register (as per
the Rose Act) in use by a C of E church in Lancs.

Clarence John, son of John Francis Minchinton of
the North West Arm, Gaspé. and of Beatrice Isobel
(Olsen) his wife, was born on the sixth and was
baptized on the thitieth day of September A.D. nineteen hundred and eight.
