Hello Merida M. Landers family members,
The Summer Newsletter is in the mail! Although, I actually missed summer
by 2 days. Oh well!
Please read page 4 "Newsletter Costs," and consider helping with the
newsletter. It would be nice to have some help, and have someone else put
together some of the newsletters (in any format). I was thinking if 3 of you
helped, then it would only be one issue for each of us. I could send you the
mailing labels, what ever money there is for it's publication, and what ever
information I have to go in it that particular time. You could post to the
list for requests of information also. I will do the fall newsletter the
middle of Nov. , but will make a decision on whether to continue after that,
depending on what response I get (answers to questions, requests for records,
more $, and feelings on whether to continue the newsletter or not).
I'm sure the newsletter is of more interest to those older family members
that are not doing any research, rather than those of us on internet. But,
how do you feel about it continuing? My original purpose was to help us
find where M. M. Landers Sr. was born. It has not helped to accomplish that,
so is it still needed? I put more questions in this time, to see if we get a
response from the older family members.
