I am searching information on the childern and grandchildern of Rudolf
Rhyner or Rihner b.Feb.27,1830 in Elm, Switzerland,d. Aug.5,1877 in New
Orleans.He arrived in New Orleans from Elm,Switzerland abord the ship
s/s Athens Nov. 28,1853 with his wife Dorathea Hefti.Thier childern are
Frances,Louise,Jacob, Catherine, Mary, John, William, Rudolph and
Lillian.I am most intrested in the childern of Jacob Rihner (My husbands
grandfather).Jacob Rihner b.June 21,1856 in N.O.d. Feb. 3,1930, Married
Dec. 4,1879 Agnes Carrie Zimmer b.June 1,1859 d.Oct. 29,1934 in
N.O..Childern-Paul, Rudolph Mithias, George, Lillian W., Milton Lewis,
Charles Francis, Albert S.,Mary, Rudolph, John, Lillian and Fridolin
(Frederick-My husband's Father).I have information on this line back to
Ulrich Rhyner b. abt. 1549 and will be glad to share. Anyone knowing
