Hi, Mary

Thank you very much for this information. It's very interesting!

I did an Internet search using Copernic, which uses 11 major search engines,
and it returned a voluminous amount of information on "The United Ancient
Order of Druids." The most specific to Louisiana is a record at the New
Orleans Public Library in the "Rare Vertical Files" section of the Louisiana
Division, entitled "United Ancient Order of Druids" and includes the
Charters and Solicitations. Its record number is 21. The information
states this file is available to "registered Louisiana researchers."

I think I'll probably write the library a letter anyway, but does anyone
know how one becomes a registered researcher? I'd sure like to see the
local charter for this organization.

Thanks again, Mary
Nancy
