According to the City Directory of New Orleans (1890-91) My great-grandmother
taught at two schools.

Her name was Adele Townsend
She taught at Marigny School in 1890 and Fisk School 1891.

Does anyone know anything about these schools? Maybe old school board
employee records showing the years a teacher taught? Teaching certificate?
Anything? (I am grasping straws!)
