Duffin questions - succession

What Ron Gurtler didn't say about Louisiana law is that it follows Napoleonic
code instead of the English law of the rest of the country. Perhaps he could
explain what, in practice, that means. I'm a retired engineer, so I have very
little knowledge about the subject, particularly since I am not a native of
Louisiana.
