Only other alternative would be St. Joseph Orphan
Asylum Cemetery #2 which is still on 6th between
Loyola and S. Liberty. Check with the Archdiocese of
N.O. for that one.

The only cemetery I know of that was on 6th Street was
Locust Grove Cemetery. I don't know if it still
exists, but in 1901 it was located on 6th Street
between S. Robertson and Freret Streets.
If it was city owned, you might call the city
department that takes care of all the city-owned
cemeteries at 504-896-4740. If it was privately
owned, I'm at a loss, too.
Good luck!
Rita

In doing some research I find that one of my ancestors is buried in the 6th Street Cemetery. However, I can't find it. Any help?
Thanks...Frank
