Actually I have had no problems with Outlook Express and really love it. But
you are right, there are some problems with it. Actually not really any more
problems than some or most other email programs. I have been using Outlook
Express for years. The problem I had with the virus sneaking in when I had
my preview pane opened was my own fault. I knew better but still chose to
leave it opened. So I opened myself up to being contaminated. There are also
patches you can download from the Microsoft Critical Update site that will
prevent things like this from happening. I run OE 5.0 and the patches are
for 5.01 and 5.5. The reason I have not upgraded is because I have really
never had any problems with 5.0, and my theory is if "it aint broke" don't
fix it..So basically if I leave my preview pane off..it aint broke!!
