I am looking for information on the family of a Jason GERARD who married a
Jane Theresa GUTTERIDGE about 1838-39 in Orleans Parish or NJ or NY. She was
born in Ireland about 1819. Jason was born about 1815 possibly in New York or New
Jersey (different censuses say different places).
I have found five of their children baptised in Orleans between 1839 and
1846. I have found him in an 1842 directory for Algiers and he is not there in the
1851 directory-moved back to Kings County, New York where he is in the census
of 1850.
Is anyone else researching the family of Jason GERARD or any possible
brothers?
