I would check the New Orleans city directories for 1869 and 1870 to see
exactly where Peter DeGruy lived at that time. Then, when you get home, you
can write to the Archives of the Archdiocese of NO and see if they can
locate a record of Peter's marriage or the baptism of Albert Joseph. The
Archives needs to know which church registers to search. Knowing where they
lived will increase your chances of a positive result. The same would be
true of Albert Joseph's marriage record, which might list his parents.
