Coleen,

There wasn't any hit on the name Arthur F. on Ancestry, but looking at all
the census entries from 1900-1930 for that name, the far majority who were
not native to the US were born in Austria or Poland. (one family showed
Russia) It was interesting to see that many of those born in Austria spoke
Polish as the primary language in their households. I did not see French
mentioned at all.
