Pitot was the second mayor of N.O., but not an ancestor.

My ancestor, Jose Reynes built a house in the late1700's and after about 5
years sold it to Madame Rillieux (Degas' Grandmother. She was also Norbert
Rillieux's( fpc) Grandmother see:

She then sold the house about 5 years after that to James Pitot. It's known
as the Pitot house, but of course I think it should be known as the Reynes
house, lol:
